Cash withdrawals at the Point of Sale

JCC Payment Systems informs its customers and the public that the cashback service during payment at a physical terminal (POS) is available from JCC and has already been in operation since 2021 at a number of JCC merchant clients.

JCC Cashback is a service offered through JCC’s POS terminals, allowing cash withdrawal from the business’s cash register during the payment of goods and services with a debit card. POS terminals enabled with this service can essentially act as a complement to the ATM network, so that debit cardholders can withdraw cash amounts (up to €100) at locations convenient to them.

All categories of businesses can register for this service and offer their customers the ability to withdraw cash from their bank accounts, if they wish.
It is noted that Cashback can only be executed during a purchase transaction using a VISA or Mastercard debit card. The JCC POS terminal confirms the card’s compatibility and guides the user accordingly.

Businesses are not charged any fees for offering Cashback. When a customer requests Cashback, a fee is charged only for the purchase portion of the transaction and not for the cash withdrawal amount. In this way, cash management at the register is facilitated at no cost. At the same time, cardholders are not charged any fee when using this service. Their card is charged only for the amount of cash received.
