How it works

You enter the transaction amount in Euro and insert, tap or swipe the card in the POS terminal.

If the card’s billing currency is one of the 47 eligible DCC currencies, then the POS terminal will automatically prompt the customer to select their desired transaction currency (either the card’s billing currency or euros). The terminal will display the applicable exchange rate.

After the payment* goes through, DCC generates a fully transparent receipt with the charge in both currencies, providing all transaction information, including the amount in euros and the amount in the foreign currency with the exchange rate applied.

*You should know: If the customer pays in their card’s billing currency, then the transaction amount will be the one displayed on your POS terminal. No additional fees or surcharges will be applied. If the customer pays in euros, then the customer's bank will add, usually high, exchange fees.

Which cards are accepted?
DCC works with VISA and Mastercard networks. (American Express, UnionPay, and Diners Club aren’t supported).
Is there exchange risk for me?
There is no exchange risk for businesses. JCC bears all risk, and we reward you for every DCC transaction, regardless of foreign exchange fluctuations.
What currencies are supported?
The JCC DCC service works with the 47 most popular currencies (AED, ARS, AUD, AZN, BGN, BHD, BRL, BYN, CAD, CHF, CNY, COP, CZK, DKK, EGP, GBP, HKD, HRK, JUF, IDR, INR, ILS, JOD, JPY, KRW, KWD, KZT, MXN, MYR, NGN, NOK, PHP, PLN, QAR, RON, RSD, RUB, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, TWD, UAH, USD, ZAR, VND).
In which currency am I credited?
You are credited in euros both for the transaction and your 1% reward. Your rewards will be credited at the end of every month.
